No-Poo Method – my experience and thoughts

Hello💜

A little life update before starting; …did I make a spontaneous decision and cut bangs for myself this last week? Potentially yes. Do I regret it? No, I actually love it. My reasoning behind this impulsive act was that we are in quarantine.. so who’s going to see me for at least another two months? We are about to enter into the summer months (I just submitted my last assignment for school today THANK GOD) and if I ended up hating it I could grow them out a good amount before potentially seeing anybody. Anyway, I did make that drastic change to my hair – and in this post I urge you to try something new out that maybe you’re a little scared of during this quarantine! Maybe you’ll love it, like me ❤

Anyway, my month and a half long experiment has finally come to an end. If anything, this experience has given me something unique to say about what I did during the global pandemic; I didn’t wash my hair with shampoo or conditioner! Here are my concluding thoughts:)

NP Method: Week 5

Hello💜

I have a little explaining to do. In my last post on NP Method (NP Method: Week 4) I said that I would do up to a Week 6 update post and then a conclusion post – I’ve decided that 5 weeks has been plenty. I haven’t seen/don’t see my hair undergoing any more drastic changes for potentially the rest of my life regarding No-poo. This is going to be my last update post.

Anyway! Per usual, scroll to the bottom of this post if you want to view my intro/previous updates on No-poo. Hope you guys enjoy the second to last post in this No-poo series:)

NP Method: Week 4

Hello lovelies💜

Today marks one month since starting the No-Poo method. I am impressed. At the beginning of this challenge, I thought that it would take at least 6 weeks before I reached a point I was happy with. Wow was I wrong! No-poo really showed up for itself. -Also, I should probably stop calling it a “challenge” because I think I’m going to make it my lifestyle.

If you’re interested in seeing the posts leading up to this one, scroll to the bottom of this post! I’ve included links;)

NP Method: Week 3

Hello lovelies💜

I can’t believe it’s already been three weeks since starting this experiment! To be honest, I am pretty impressed with this week. I think we are starting to break out of the severely oily phase. Thank god.

I will be linking my previous weeks and intro to this experiment at the bottom of this post, so make sure to check those out if you haven’t already!

NP Method: Week 2

Hello lovelies💜

Alas! It’s time for another update on my NP Method journey! This week was a bit of a confusing week for my hair. My hair had some major ups and downs. If you want to learn more about the background of my hair or what I’m talking about, here’s a link to my first post on NP. If you didn’t get a chance to check up for the first week, here’s a link for my week 1 update.

Let’s go!

NP Method: Week 1

Hello lovelies💜

Happy Easter, everyone!

Wow, it was a long week. I feel like today should be Monday. The longer I social distance, the more I feel like my life has become eat, look at social media, do homework, sleep. Seriously RIP my social life.

Anyway, today marks Week 1 of my experiment doing the NP Method. If you have no idea what I’m talking about or somehow missed my intro post, click HERE! If you are caught up and ready to go, here’s the update:)

Experiment: No-Poo Method (NP Method)

Hello, lovelies💜

I’ll give a quick little update before I get into things. My high school is starting online school tomorrow. Not gonna lie, I am quite nervous, partially because a lot of my teachers have only just started using Canvas and Zoom this month. Although, I am more nervous for my classmates than myself. From experience, I know online classes take a lot more effort and I’m not sure my peers are ready for that workload. Is that harsh? Maybe. Is it true? For sure. I’m just hoping everything works out!

Anyways! Today I am doing a little bit of a different type of post… I am going to be conducting an experiment!
