montana trip 2020

Guys. It has been so long since I’ve done a photography/travel post on here! It is loooooong overdue. This last week my family took a trip up to see my uncle and aunt (while social distancing) in Montana. My dad is planning a backpacking trip so we ended up doing a lot of hiking and running. I’ll explain more as we get into the pictures, but the scenery was gorgeous!

summer 2020 goals☀️

It is officially the beginning of summer for me- starting this week. School’s done, all of my extracurricular’s are done (… they didn’t begin this semester to start with …) and the hot weather is rolling in. To kick it off, I’m going to share with you my goals (quarantine or no quarantine) for this summer. NP Method: Week 5

I have a little explaining to do. In my last post on NP Method (NP Method: Week 4) I said that I would do up to a Week 6 update post and then a conclusion post – I’ve decided that 5 weeks has been plenty. I haven’t seen/don’t see my hair undergoing any more drastic changes for potentially the rest of my life regarding No-poo. This is going to be my last update post.

things I’ve realized

Hello💜

I really appreciate you taking the time to read my ramblings, experiments and thoughts. I don’t voice my appreciation enough.

To be truthful, I’ve been a little hesitant to post about quarantining. I did… one post about quarantining on Avocado Thoughts, I believe. For some reason, in my brain, I think of posting about quarantine like I’m acknowledging it to be something worthy enough to post about. When I post something on Avocado Thoughts, it makes it very real.

I guess today’s post is gonna be about some of the first world things I’ve realized/learned while social distancing and just staying home with myself. I feel a little weird doing this as there are many people dying and losing their jobs because of Covid and I’m just here posting about some things I’ve learned from it. I hope that even though what I’m sharing here pales in comparison to the loss and suffering of the world through Covid19, my post today can help you realize some things of importance.

NP Method: Week 4

Hello lovelies💜

Today marks one month since starting the No-Poo method. I am impressed. At the beginning of this challenge, I thought that it would take at least 6 weeks before I reached a point I was happy with. Wow was I wrong! No-poo really showed up for itself. -Also, I should probably stop calling it a “challenge” because I think I’m going to make it my lifestyle.

NP Method: Week 3

I can’t believe it’s already been three weeks since starting this experiment! To be honest, I am pretty impressed with this week. I think we are starting to break out of the severely oily phase. Thank god.
